We get ready for the day. We pack our bags and got in the car. I'm so excited for today! We're heading off to the Thrift Shop. I was cracking up when my mom said we were gonna head to the thrift shop. We get in the car and I open my bag of Parmesan goldfish..... Mmm… but I think I still like the x-treme goldfish better. We're heading off to the thrift shop and the song Catch my breath (by Kelly clarkson) went on and this song is SOOO funny because my friends and I are like: "Catch my breath!!!" Weirdly then we breath really heavy...
Long beach is so beautiful! We're in town looking around and the song Scream and Shout (by Will.i.am and Britney Spears) comes on. I'm lightly dancing but I wanna break it down but I don't have enough room to break it down! We're driving to Seaside. We're gonna go to the beach once were done. I'm looking around, seeing the different trees, the different colored shops, I love how each shop is unique and different. I see a sign that says "Woody's" which reminds me of toy story. I loved woody, but the girl cowboy and the horse was my favorite.
We're driving, and you can see all the trees unique style. We get farther down and I see a place called "The Planter Box" which had beautiful plants; beautiful flowers, baby trees, and more. I'm still staring at the trees and realize that there isn't trees that are the same next to each other. I see pine trees every now and then but see more of other trees. I see a little cabin, it looked abandoned. It was old and looked like no one lived there. Next the song die young (by Ke$ha) comes on and how am I able to resist singing???? I start singing the lyrics: "Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young..... It's pretty obvious you've got a crush."
We realized that we might of passed the beach. It turns out we're in north beach. We arrive at the thrift shop. We're in the thrift shop looking at so many interesting, unique, cool, and amazing stuff. I saw some creepy stuff and some really cool stuff like an old fashioned telephone.... The first one created by Alexander Graham Bell. My mom showed me how they used the phone.
We saw some strange stuff too. I loved looking at all the different patterns on stuff. We saw some seriously cool tea pot sets. Soon enough we leave about an hour later. We head out and were in the car with the butt warmer on. We head out to Astoria and we head off.... On a hunt for lunch!
