Adventures with Emmy
Day 2: Thrift shop, bags, and Seaside
We get ready for the day. We pack our bags and got in the car. I'm so excited for today! We're heading off to the Thrift Shop. I was cracking up when my mom said we were gonna head to the thrift shop. We get in the car and I open my bag of Parmesan goldfish..... Mmm… but I think I still like the x-treme goldfish better. We're heading off to the thrift shop and the song Catch my breath (by Kelly clarkson) went on and this song is SOOO funny because my friends and I are like: "Catch my breath!!!" Weirdly then we breath really heavy...
Long beach is so beautiful! We're in town looking around and the song Scream and Shout (by Will.i.am and Britney Spears) comes on. I'm lightly dancing but I wanna break it down but I don't have enough room to break it down! We're driving to Seaside. We're gonna go to the beach once were done. I'm looking around, seeing the different trees, the different colored shops, I love how each shop is unique and different. I see a sign that says "Woody's" which reminds me of toy story. I loved woody, but the girl cowboy and the horse was my favorite.
We're driving, and you can see all the trees unique style. We get farther down and I see a place called "The Planter Box" which had beautiful plants; beautiful flowers, baby trees, and more. I'm still staring at the trees and realize that there isn't trees that are the same next to each other. I see pine trees every now and then but see more of other trees. I see a little cabin, it looked abandoned. It was old and looked like no one lived there. Next the song die young (by Ke$ha) comes on and how am I able to resist singing???? I start singing the lyrics: "Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young..... It's pretty obvious you've got a crush."
We realized that we might of passed the beach. It turns out we're in north beach. We arrive at the thrift shop. We're in the thrift shop looking at so many interesting, unique, cool, and amazing stuff. I saw some creepy stuff and some really cool stuff like an old fashioned telephone.... The first one created by Alexander Graham Bell. My mom showed me how they used the phone.
We saw some strange stuff too. I loved looking at all the different patterns on stuff. We saw some seriously cool tea pot sets. Soon enough we leave about an hour later. We head out and were in the car with the butt warmer on. We head out to Astoria and we head off.... On a hunt for lunch!

Adventures with Emmy
Day 1: In a car till the End
*Poof!* That was the sound it made when I jumped in the seat to the car. We traveled in a car to the beach but sincerely felt like we traveled half way around the world. We sat in a car, we named the car Mercedes (she's a Mercedes), and I made comic strips the whole time. Time flew by and when I wasn't making comic strips I was looking at the views of everywhere we went. Soon enough we were starting to pass Astoria. My mom showed me where my ancestors sailed; they landed in Astoria. My ancestors owned a piece of land which I thought was pretty cool. Our adventure crossing around the places we pass. Beauty and a beat (by Justin Bieber ft. Nicki Minja) went on right when we were going across the bridge so were trying to see if we will get off the bridge before the song was over..... And we didn't make it! :( The song One More Night (by Maroon 5) went on when we were in the middle of the bridge came on and I sang the beginning of it. We came to a turn, it was a green light and we turned and before you knew it we were in Washington! My mom told me that tomorrow we can go to the seaside beach. I said yaaa!!!! My mom and I curl in the tunnel and my mom honks the horn so many times it was never ending. It's getting dark outside and right now I'm listening to a really good song called Gold by Britt Nicole. Next.... The song thrift shop (by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis) came on and my mom went wild to this song! And we froze for a second and said "I'm gonna pop some ca$h.... Got $20 in my pocket!" It's really fun to hang out with my mom and it's funny how we bond through a song called Thrift Shop! "I wear your grandad's clothes!" Hahaha!!! I think that part is sooooo funny! We've got only 2 miles until we arrive at the beach house which is pretty quick through..... But for walking might take longer time. I'm sitting on my feet.... My feet are so warm since I'm wearing my warm fuzzy slippers. My slippers are like those fuzzy socks except they kinda have that shape like flats. Soon enough we're in town. I can only hear the *ding ding ding* when my mom takes a turn to warn others that she's gonna take a turn. I recognize the soothing water..... That can only mean one thing.... We're here!!!!! We park at the lower deck just so we can unpack quicker and that's how we're use to it... My mom uses my reading light so she can use the code. We arrive and the first thing I do is.... Sit in the rocking chair and rock. I hear the squeaky noise, I'm always use to that. We're going to the grocery store to wait while the house warms up but first we bring our stuff in. I walk outside and can hear the light nature noises of frogs, birds lightly making noises. I love nature. I wish we owned a forest for me to relax at every day. I look in my room and smell the sweet smell in my room. It's the nature next door. I walk in the car and almost fall but it was funny because my mom was like "What's happening??! Is there car surfing over there?!"
